Our Story
Great food and beautiful venues are easy to find. Experienced service staff who can execute an event smoothly are much harder to come by.
Many hosts discover too late that their caterer or food vendor provides the food but not the service team needed to support the event.
The WaitStaff Team was created to fill that gap. Since 2014, we have provided professional bartenders, servers, and event support staff who help bring weddings, corporate gatherings, and private celebrations together seamlessly.
Today our team supports events throughout Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington while working closely with planners, caterers, venues, and hosts to ensure every event runs smoothly.

Born and raised in Oregon, Daniel has spent most of his career working in hospitality, primarily in private clubs and mid- to high-level catering environments where attention to detail and service standards are essential.
Working in private clubs and catering taught Daniel that the success of any event depends heavily on the strength of the team behind it. When staff feel respected, prepared, and supported, they bring a level of professionalism and care that guests immediately notice.
That philosophy became the foundation of The WaitStaff Team.
In 2014 Daniel recognized a gap in the event industry. Many hosts had excellent food vendors or venues but lacked access to experienced service staff who could bring everything together and execute the event smoothly.
What began as a small group of hospitality professionals has grown into a trusted team of more than 100 staff members serving weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and nonprofit gatherings across Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Even as the company has grown, Daniel still regularly works events alongside the team. Staying involved on the floor helps maintain the culture the company was built on and keeps leadership connected to the real experience of both staff and clients.
For Daniel, great service is not just about delivering food or pouring drinks. It is about creating an environment where hosts can relax, guests feel cared for, and every member of the team takes pride in the role they play in making an event successful.
